Online Counseling Disclaimer: Online Counseling is also known as Telemental Health Counseling and is a relatively new concept and is a growing method of psychotherapy delivery. Online Counseling provided by Spoken Heart Counseling Center is available to Georgia residents only through secure, video conferencing. Online Counseling is a good option for many, but is not appropriate for all clients. An initial office-based appointment may be required before considering Online Counseling as an option for psychotherapy sessions. Online Counseling is not a good fit for clients who have a history of self-harm, suicide attempts, prior behavioral health hospitalization, sexual abuse, overly aggressive behaviors, homicidal thoughts, psychosis, serious mental health issues, actively using alcohol and drugs, or are otherwise deemed inappropriate for Telemental Health Counseling, Online Counseling, or distance counseling.
